This highly ornamental evergreen shrub is grown for its beautiful foliage. The white markings on the leaves make this tropical plant look like it has been dusted with snow, hence its common name. The leaves are in pretty colours of mottled pink, rose, white and green. Planted extensively in tropical gardens, but also does well in most areas in South Africa. Commonly used as a hedging or screening plant but its compact size makes it an ideal container plant.
