A woody, succulent shrub that features fleshy, bright green leaves and sharp, spikey black thorns. Bright flowers that resemble geraniums from a distance, are seldom out of bloom. The plant only stops flowering during winter when it rests. Does not require much water during its resting period and moderate water in summer. A perfect addition to beds, borders, rock gardens or Mediterranean gardens.
