Beautiful indigenous Calla Lillies, also known as Arum lilies are available in many stunning colours. The brightly coloured ones are referred to as tender Zantedeschias. Spectacular when planted in mass in outdoor garden beds. Zantedeschias are often used in containers and also used as cut flowers. They have a long vase life and should not be cut with a knife but the stem should rather be pulled out of the plant. They prefer bright light and free draining soil. Consistent moisture is essential.
