A dense, rapidly spreading, mat-forming groundcover with shiny, dark green leaves. Whirls of tiny, blue-violet flowers appear in mid-to late Spring. When in full flower, large clumps of bugleweed can create a striking display. Dense foliage will choke out weeds and fill in large, shady areas where lawns are difficult to establish.
Excellent for small spaces, containers and rock gardens.
