Nectarine trees grow better in areas with cold winters and hot summers. The trees will blossom during Spring and fruit will ripen towards the beginning of Summer. Bears round, heart-shaped fruit.  The skin is paper thin with hues of pink.  White nectarines are sweeter than yellow ones and less acidic. Self-pollinating.
